Training for Schools

ADHD Confident works with schools across London, helping school leaders and educators create an environment that is supportive and inclusive for students with ADHD.

School Workshops

The ADHD Confident workshop is a professional development opportunity for educators to learn about Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and how it affects students in the classroom. The aim of the workshops is to equip teachers with the knowledge, skills, and strategies they need to support students with ADHD and help them succeed academically, socially and behaviourally. The half-day workshop covers the following areas:

  1. Understanding the nature and causes of ADHD

  2. The impact of ADHD on academic performance and behaviour in the classroom

  3. Effective strategies for managing ADHD symptoms and behaviours

  4. Techniques for creating a supportive and inclusive classroom environment

  5. Collaborating with parents, healthcare professionals, and other support staff

The workshop can benefit not only teachers, but also support staff, administrators, and anyone who works with students in the school setting. By providing a comprehensive understanding of ADHD and practical strategies for support, this workshop can make a real difference to the lives of students with ADHD and their families.
