Sour cherry, anyone?

The wealth of research into ADHD is on the rise. There are so many clinical trials these days that it’s hard to keep up. One of these include a recent study of seventy children in order to evaluate the effectiveness of 'sour cherry' concentrate on symptoms of ADHD.

The study, which took place at the Ibn-e-Sina psychiatric clinic in Iran, involved a randomised control trial, in which children, aged 6-12 were given sour cherry concentrate to drink for a duration of two weeks. Despite some abdominal pain, and asthenia, the results reveal no significant benefit of sour cherry on the symptoms of ADHD.

Until reading this study I had no idea that sour cherry was even a thing. I think I’ll stick with my Omega 3 capsules!
